france sailingOne of the most decadent holidays you could ever experience in a lifetime is certainly to charter a yacht. France is an extremely popular destination, with its beautiful beaches, promise of exotic romance, and the chance to experience a culture as rich and diverse as any on earth. Yachts are generally perceived to be a luxury only available to the rich and famous, but the experience need not be restricted to the upper classes. Chartering a yacht is the easiest way to taste a dream. The yacht comes with a crew whose only duty is to ensure that your trip is as relaxing and satisfying as you desire. They are employed to sail you safely, provide wonderful meals, and pamper you to your heart's desire.

The French Riviera offer just the right blend of hedonism and sophistication that make them such popular destinations. Haute cuisine in a castle on the cliffs of Eze or wild champagne parties at the beach in St. Tropez, take your pick or choose both!

When the sun goes down return to the yacht for cocktails and hors d' oveurs before carrying on until daybreak at one of the great night spots ashore. For the less wild, have a walk down the cobbled streets of Antibes, rub elbows with celebrities at the Film Festival in Cannes, marvel at the Grand Prix in Monaco or visit the famous casino here

Yacht Charter Travel and crew caters for every possible wish, from sail to power, yachts to mega yachts, the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, the South Pacific to Alaska. A typical cruise

Day 1

After your flight into Nice, greet your yacht in the colorful fishing village of Villefranche-sur-Mer. Its old-world charm has made it a featured location in many James Bond films as well as The Jewel of the Nile.

Day 2

Anchor off St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat to take in the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild perched between the port and the mainland. After mooring in Monaco, a glamorous night-life scene is guarenteed at Place du Casino the center of Monte Carlo. The chic, neo-Deco bistro Quai des Artistes provides fabulous cuisine and people-watching.

Day 3

Antibes, visit one of the medieval hilltop villages. Shop along the cobblestone streets and visit the sculpture garden and the modern art collection at Foundation Maeght. Spend the evening docked alongside other spectacular yachts at The International Yacht Club.

Day 4

Considered one of the most romantic old towns on the Mediterranean coast, Antibes inspired Picasso to paint on a panoramic scale. Stroll Promenade Amiral-de-Grasse along the crest of Vauban's seawalls. View the impressive collection in the Musee Picasso.

Day 5

Make a quick trip into Provence to visit charming St. Paul de Vence. Then cruise past Jan-Ies-Pins for beautiful views over cocktails and appetizers. Anchor off romantic Iles de Lerins for a quiet alfresco dinner onboard before your next stop at St. Tropez!

Day 6

Moor at Jean-Jaures and head ashore early to tour the medieval backstreets before the crowds. Be sure to visit the Musee de I'Annociade, which traces the evolution of painting from impressionism to expressionism. Or, if you danced until the wee hours in one of St. Tropez's many chic clubs, it may be your day to sleep late.
